I thought the Oreo thing was because of a multi-racial family in an ad, or was that a different company?

I think Cheerios did an ad with a multiracial family and they caught some flak from the right. This was the Oreo blowback: https://www.advocate.com/business/2020/10/19/one-million-moms-threatens-boycott-oreo-over-lgbtq-campaign

“Mr Potato Head” was a reactionary throwback to a time before we dismantled the gender binary.

His very existence radicalised children into believing that only heterosexual and cisgender potatoes could have fulfilling lives.

THIS is what progress looks like.

Censuring any Republican who says or does anything Trump doesn’t like.

What happened with Coke?

Coke had some sort of internal training for employees where one bit had a directive about "try to be less white." I'm fairly sure the comment was taken out of context and blown out of proportion, because conservatives never argue in good faith, but TikTok was filled with right-wingers decked out in Trump flags and MAGA hats making a big production of pouring Coca-Cola down a drain or sewer.

This is sort of an infinite list.

Coke has traditionally been blue and Pepsi red. I don't know of anything new.

Brooke Eden was told to keep quiet about being a lesbian, lest she be canceled by conservative fans of country music:

Well I mean if you’re going to take the question that way: women’s rights. (And a whole host of other people’s rights, but they go after women’s rights like it’s their raison d’etre.)

Texas Governor Greg Abbott was paralyzed by a falling tree branch in 1984. He sued the homeowner and ended up with more than $6 million in payments. That's fine, good for him.

However, years later, as a lawmaker, Abbott championed legislation that caps awards (of the very kind he benefitted from) at $750,000. Roll on, Greg!

What does this have to do with the culture wars?

Not a ton, I think PP is just connecting that GOP politicians are some of the most brazenly opportunistic hypocrites in the whole world, which ties in to their handwringing about ~cancel culture~ despite them cancelling dozens and dozens of things over the years.

Conservatives don’t cancel anything.

Give up with the failed gaslighting meme attempt, OP.

No one is buying it.
