I don’t understand why posters in DCUM feel like they need to bash other clubs. Metro, BSC, McLean, etc.

What might not work for you might work for others and vice-versa. I like the fact that there are lots of clubs in our area.

I dont agree with the bashing but too many clubs is the problem were having here in Nova why is Metro in even in GA? No GA team in this area can compete nationally because of the dilution of players. Instead why not take Metro's GA and give it to someone further ex. Beach FC and thats one less "ELITE" team in the area (not that they're elite to begine with)

PP do you honestly agree a club like Metro should keep moving forward? Same goes for BRYC

Look, The reason travel soccer sucks is because of parents who believe that paying insane travel fees makes their kid elite. That is why we have two different national leagues when only one should exists. Imagine if the elite teams between Richmond and Baltimore could play each other. This is what NCSL/WAGS was. Entitled parents and their desire for the 'elite' patch drove the current craziness.

I don't think it's the amount they pay, it's the league that they are in which makes them feel like their dd is "elite". I think that years ago ECNL thought that they could drive the good players to the ECNL teams. However, kids stayed at their clubs. Now ECNL is just bringing the league to clubs, so now you have watered down league.

You don't know the situation people are in and why they choose a team or club. Everyone makes a decision that they believe is best for them.

That's quite a leap. I mean there are an awful lot of staves in the world and only one of them was carried by Moses. And I understand that biblical scholars these days tend to question whether Moses even existed. If he didn't then it's hard to see how he could have had a staff - in which case the PP was most definitely not making a reference to Moses' staff - just some other staff.
