Schools with an outdoorsy culture within 5-6 hours drive

I went to WVU and there wasn't much outdoor culture. Unless you count drinking in Sunnyside and street parties to be outdoorsy.
It is a fun school. So much fun that I have to leave after 2 years because I needed to go somewhere that I could graduate!

Haha. That part is true, too. My sister went there and she did all sorts of outdoorsy stuff through clubs and just with friends. Whitewater rafting, kayaking, hiking, skiing, snowshoeing. It is very pretty around there and definitely lots of stuff to do within easy driving distance. She absolutely, but fed her love for the outdoors as well.

I am just the opposite and went to NYU. The concrete jungle.

Kenyon is about 6 hours away and they have lots of opportunities for outdoorsy students including a farm institute and so many hiking/biking trails. It’s worth looking into.
