Do your sheet sets match?

I have several extra white top and bottom sheets. I can always pair any sheet no matter the color or pattern with a white top or bottom sheet.

How are your sheets getting ripped? This has never happened to me.

Cats.

That has never happened to me, but I would not use mismatched sheets. We don’t use a top sheet, and all of my sheets are the same color.

I would throw the whole set out, but I’m a borderline minimalist, I don’t keep extra stuff around. I have a sheet set for our room (king bed) and a backup set, and a sheet set for the guest bed (full) and a backup set. So if a fitted sheet ripped, I’d have to buy a new set, and I would keep around the top of flat sheet or pillow cases because I don’t have use for more than two sets per size.

Ack typo. Fixed.

Depends how much I like the sheets. If lower thread count I save the set for putting under kids during messy craft projects. But, a few I liked enough to save and keep using. Our bedding is not fancy in general though ... we still have a full bed actually and keep saying we are grown up enough to upgrade to queen

Nobody comes to my house so I'm the only one who sees it. I currently have a purple sheet, blue pillowcase on one pillow, and polka dot pillowcase on the other pillow.

We use mismatched stuff all the time. Neither DH or I care. If it's clean, it's good enough for us.

What about pillow cases?

DP. I do the same as pp, and I use old pillow cases as dust covers for things in storage.

When sheets get worn, they just rip, sometimes. This usually happens when they’ve just gotten perfectly soft.

All of the master are white. I have an abundance of pillow cases anyway because we change every 2-3 nights do to allergies. We have torn fitted sheets. I have 2 extra tops. One is a beach sheet. The other I use to cover the sofa when mom comes with her dog.

Quality sheets take a long time to wear out. Like 10+ years. We have family of 4 so each person has two sets. It’s easier to keep up with whose sheets are whose and the sets stay together and wear at the same rate. I like some color / style so they coordinate with the duvet covers. Even if the cover is white.

I have red sheets on my bed. I like the pop of color. Everything else is so ... neutral.

This, exactly.
