| Not flashy. I think “wanna be” because they are the cheap version of a Tesla. |
|
I have a 3 and wish I had waited for the Y. Not flashy - my Odyssey minivan was more expensive than my 3.
(And Elon Musk is so juvenile. His cars are the S 3 X Y models.) |
| I think it looks a little flashy with those optional big 21" dark wheels. The standard 19" silver wheels make it look 'dorkier' and it blends in far more, I think. |
| I think it will be fine. Tesla’s are very popular so they’re often seen on the road. I don’t think your work situation will judge? |
Nissan Leaf, Chevy Bolt. Very similar to the Model Y is the new Ford “Mustang” Mach E. |
| Is this the model that looks like a rotisserie chicken container? |
Not flashy if that's it above. I drive a 50k+ car, and it is not flashy for sure. |
| If you test drive a Nissan Leaf and a Tesla, you won't choose the Nissan. I don't think Teslas are flashy. Maybe they were in the beginning, but they are all over. |
| There are too many Teslas around here that nobody much cares anymore. |
Yes, the “SUV”
|

They may not be flashy, but they also don't scream "fiscally conservative".
If you want to look financially modest, I wouldn't get a Tesla. But if it was, i also wouldn't give an f drive what you want to drive |
True. DS took a Tesla Model X to college in Michigan, and he said it draws way more attention and questions here where nobody even looks at it. |
| No they are not flashy nor will they upgrade your status. Don’t buy if you are a vain person. But if you like the EV technology and/or care about the environment. |
| Still flashy. |
| Not flashy at all |
