Isn't frat boys laying siege to the mall to play kickball the same? How do we know that there are no black golfers?

I saw a gentleman at Turtle Park years ago practicing fly casting on the baseball outfield. He was attempting to cast to various targets on the infield. Should the cops have been called? DCPR?

I don't like or agree with the rule, but I know enough about DPR field use to know where the rule is. We truly live in a nanny state. Actually, the rule is designed to prevent damage to the fields with divots.

For the dog people. No dogs on DPR playing fields leashed or unleashed period, unless they are working service dogs.

It's not a nanny state to have rules intended to prevent injury to others and to prevent damage to the property. There are actual golf courses and driving ranges that are designed for hitting golf balls.

East Potomac and Rock Creek @ $16 a bucket of balls. That is probably more classist than a few guys chipping balls in a local park.
