Golf is the traditional “old boys network” vehicle that white men have used for a century or more to meet and greet, bond, and plot ways to maintain their suppression of women and POC in literary every aspect of our society. What do you think they discuss when they’re out there playing?

These young white men emulate their fathers and uncles. Instead of a private country club that discriminates against people, they have laid claim to a ball field, depriving it from being used by others. It’s intentional. It’s their way of saying “this is our turf”, and others aren’t welcome.

Because of these young white men, young Brown men can’t play soccer, and young Black men can’t play football. Which is exactly what these young white men want. [/quote]
