I am a woman. I remember one day, I went on a date. I was a few minutes late because I couldn't find parking. So I called the guy to let him know what was going on. He was at the restaurant already. So he said I'm coming to help you to find parking. As we talked on the phone, I saw a guy talking on the phone like looking for somebody. I said it is him.
I couldn't believe it! He was significantly overweight. I felt catfished since he just posted selfies on his profile. I was still in my car. I could leave. But I do not have the heart to do something like that. I went ahead with "the date." I know, what a waste of time, since I knew from minute one it wasn't going anywhere.

I had a date last week with a guy I had been talking to on an app, and on the phone and via text. He was easily at least 100 lbs more than expected but I still went on the date. Then he ghosted me! LOL

People are jerks. I know it is hard, but try not to take it personally.
