I don’t agree with many of RBG’s positions but I respect her years of service on the bench. If Scalia loved her, we should all see her this way.

NO way you are a Jewish mother.

See a Jewish mother understands for her daughters what gifts RBG gave all women. Do you own a charge card? Are you for getting rid of the ACA and preexisting conditions? And RBG worked with both sides of the lane which is what a Jewish mother would teach her children.

I can say this as I am a "Jewish Mother" and I am annoyed at any Jew who thinks going down the Trumper path is good for Jews. Today 495 between MD & VA, Alt right driving trucks with lovely hate against Jews.

The anti semitism momentum is because of him and you are supporting that garbage.

I most certainly AM a Jewish mother and I proudly support President Trump. Your rantings are lunacy and you’re not worth the engagement. Chag Sameach to you and yours. May the year bring you good health, peace and sanity.

Honestly, why?

This is the religion forum not political. But as a Jewish American and a proud supporter of Israel, how could I not support the president?

I will add that my original comment was that I didn’t always agree with RBG but I respect her service and her ability to work and befriend those who disagreed with her. In her spirit, why can’t others here do the same?

NP.

I support President Trump. I am also saddened at RBGs passing. The two do not conflict - Jewish mother.

+1 Why?

A Jew can not support the anti semitism that is coming from the WH. Steven Miller being in the WH alone precludes any actual Jew from supporting Trump. You only support Trump because of Israel. His lies and anti semitism you accept. Given the Pittsburgh synagogue shooting and his lack of a human reaction, you are certainly not a Jewish mother. Because a Jewish mother puts her children before very thing. A Jewish mother understands when a synagogue is shot up and people die what that means. Clearly you are ok in a country where Anti Semitism begins at the top! And the fact he yes he killed 200,000 Americans, and literally had a playbook to help during a public health crisis , and did not use it, great parenting you have. Risking your children and family members and friends because of a misguided thought process. He could give a crap about Israel, follow the money.... UGH .....

But, as President Trump points out, many Nazis are fine people! How close-minded of Jews not to accept that.

Signed,
A Jewish mom who thinks that tikkun olam means something different than the Trump supporters think it means.

That's not what he said. You should really read the full quote.

Of course they do.

What?

Trump leader and gas lighter of anti semitism in the US.

Trump is a liar and a scammer. i'm sorry did you not know that he scammed Americans to the tune of 25 million dollars with his University. it was sanctioned by the courts. Trump Foundation a charity????? Also, scammed Americans and sanctioned by the court. Trump modeling agency closed by the authorities for bringing illegal teen models into the country and not paying them. So clearly before he was President he was a complete scam artist.

He lies daily (fact) denies science and gas lights (fact). Huge propaganda machine. (FACT).

Yet as a " Jewish mother " you think it's ok to show your children you support a man that calls women "nasty". That treats others horribly, that clearly doesn't care who lives or dies, we are in a public health crisis and he's doing indoor rallies. Explain to your children why it's ok to treat people that way. Explain to your children why lying is ok from the President but it is not ok for them to lie.

This as a parent should not be that hard. Your children should come first. And if you think being a "jewish mother" is not protecting your children from his behaviors then you are sadly mistaken. Why are children not in school? Trump and his lack of leadership.

One more thing as a "Jewish mother" you are ok with putting QANON (they are not fans of Jews) in the WH or on the Supreme Court. Wow great awesome ,best wonderful, amazing parenting.

Can you not let people have their own political views without attacking them with religion?

Apparently we cannot. The PP is completely unhinged. Sad to see on a thread that was started to honor and learn more about Ginsburg.

This is Jewish folklore, not Jewish religious tradition. There is nothing in the Talmud or Torah that says that dying on Rosh Hashanah makes a person special. We are talking about ethnic and tribal traditions.

Wow, how can you? He’s a raging liar for one thing among so many.

Find me av politician who isn't a liar and I'll find you a unicorn...

That said, I won't speak ill of the dead. I believe RBG was very misguided in her life, if a well meaning person, but she's beyond discussion now. Her abortion support was particularly tragic to me as a Jewish woman and mother, and against Jewish law, which only permits it to save the life of the mother.

Wow. I’m shocked at these responses. I’ve never met a Hewish person in real life who opposes abortion.

Not PP but there are a lot of closet Jewish republican voters this year. They are joining the closet AA and white republican voters. The ACA took my health insurance (for 1 person) from
$250 to $790 per year under Obama so the Dems did not get my vote. The ACA is not affordable for middle or lower middle class voters.

Yeah, PP, didn't you get the memo that unless you vote for Biden, you aren't Jewish?
