Anna Faris quits “Mom” on CBS abruptly

My question is if they are going to deal with Covid or the fires. Adam’s bar is toast if they bring in the reality of it. How do they do an in person AA meeting without masks? I have really enjoyed ‘Mom’. I love comedies that take on more serious issues and show a different strata of our culture.

I don’t think there will be masks on.

Allison Janney and Kristen Johnson are huge talents. If this is temporary they could write Anna's character off for awhile. If it's permanent I think they could find a lot of places to go with it.

Whether it's true or not, I have always got the vibe from articles, TV, etc., that the divorce from Chris Pratt was very much his idea.

I agree the cast is super strong but they seem to have given the other women a backseat in season 7, which I didn't like. They all have such unique stories they brought to the table I don't think they should just focus on Bonnie.

And yes, Anna Faris has never looked well since the divorce. It has to be hard to see him moving on and doing so well. Some of the episodes her legs are so skinny they look like sticks.

Her comments about being gaslit about cheating were really hard to hear. I have so much sympathy for her.

Well it was her choice and she immediately started seeing someone else. Maybe it’s a medical issue.

Really? Connors is not bad.

Agreed. I like it better with Roseanne gone

Agree. Roseanne is annoying. Darlene is hilarious.

Not sure if the divorce was her choice.

Not sure if the divorce was her choice.

Your assuming her cheating comments were about Chris Pratt. She didn’t name the ex. Similar to Halle Berry letting it sit in the press for years that David Justice hit her and 20 years later she confirmed it wasn’t him. Given how fast Anna was paired up with her new man and how friendly she is with Chris publicly, it’s likely not him she was talking about.

Didn’t she just get engaged?

Anna was also divorced before.

Her role was noticeably smaller last year so this isn’t a surprise to me. I was wondering why she was barely in any episodes.

Chris was also her second divorce so she has other exes.

I think it’s been since Chris got remarried.

I hope she is okay and if not, she gets the help she needs.
