No way, he really already left ?

In DMV outlook thread, it said he left because of lack of talent. It wasn't any different than when he took job. Kind of bush league move. DJO cancelled winter sports on their own, so maybe there was an issue there. He's coaching VLC still. Not sure why he couldn't use that program to build up DJO.

VLC has kids from many schools. Mostly public schools. They do not push schools on the families

Rowlett did NOT leave DJO. His predecessor left after one year to become an Asst Coach at the Heights. That’s why Rowlett was hired

DJO would be quite a drive for most VLC families 2025's and younger. We thought about DJO when we heard what Coach R was trying to do there, but it's so far away and we'd probably have to move. Great school though.

And he's gone already. Took off the DJO references on his social media too.

Coach Rowlett will be coaching in college this spring. That's what was relayed to the families and school. Glad to see he got an opportunity in the NCAA ranks, he'll continue to do great there and hopefully build a DMV pipeline.

Ouch. That really screws DJO kids he recruited and sets back any chance DJO has at a rebuilding

Where is Rowlett coaching in college?

seems very odd to be leaving a HS coaching position mid year when most colleges don't even know if D1 spring sports will even take place here.
