Whites were blamed. It ended up being an AA male. He was prosecuted. He will serve 18 months.

There is a supply and demand problem with bigotry. Whites just aren't as racist as they're made out to be. Hoaxes are now more common than actual racist incidents.

Unfortunately I think BLM is doing a good job of stimulating supply. I've definitely become more racist since the BLM riots.

The media who covered this incident with glee as an issue of white bigotry in an affluent community, but failed to follow up with this information, should be ashamed. Of course, the real story doesn't have the click bait attraction of the narrative they want to tell.

Does anyone read the Washington Times? I'm stunned it took over two weeks for this article to make its way to DCUM.

It is still a racist incident! Why wouldn’t the principal refer to it as such no matter who the perpetrators are.

Because that's NOT what the word racist means. According to my handy online dictionary:

rac·ist
/ˈrāsəst/

noun
noun: racist; plural noun: racists

a person who shows or feels discrimination or prejudice against people of other races, or who believes that a particular race is superior to another.
"the comments have led to her being called a racist"
h
Similar:
racial bigot

adjective
adjective: racist

showing or feeling discrimination or prejudice against people of other races, or believing that a particular race is superior to another.

It is still ugly, hateful graffiti.

Agreed. Those words would have been a more appropriate description.

And of course all the progressives living down county excitedly pushed the white rich racist narrative immediately without letting the facts come to the surface. Their response when being called on it is always the same - even if this time it wasn't true, Whitman is still a segregated racist school and I stand by this fact.

Oh please Blair Magnet is the classic ‘Nice White Parents’ move. Upcounty schools are open schools. No one ever calls them on this.

It is a racist incident but, it is not white students expressing hate to toward the blacks. In contract, iT was done by a black student to: disturb the school, frame white students, or hoax.
Do you want to call is a black or black racist incident? Remember, it is okay for the black students to say the n word among the black students in MCPS.

The painted swastikas all over campus were blamed on white supremacists and a bunch of UMD policies got changed and initiatives launched and bureaucrats hired on tax payer dollars. Guess what, it was a black employee the whole time who was paintin the swastikas

Not following the parallel unless the black employee was also Jewish.

That's because you're not very smart, I guess.

Anonymous wrote:“What nobody told the people of Bethesda was that the graffiti painter of both Whitman incidents was African American — or that in the last incident, both of his casual companions were themselves also targeted minorities, or that they had no idea, and could not even imagine, what their African American friend would paint until he did,” he said, describing the hate incidents as “hoax crimes.”

On June 14, one of the juvenile suspects and Hoffman spoke with officers about the vandalism at the school. During a police interview, the juvenile allegedly took full responsibility for the vandalism and admitted to committing it because “he thought it would be fun to have something make the news given the current events occurring in the United States.”

Wouldn’t be a surprise if another student paid him to do this. Kids just don’t turn themselves in for feeling guilty. Something bigger is going on with this. Anyway, racism is still a problem at Whitman.
