1 frozen banana
2/3 cup navy beans/other white bean
2/3 cup strong coffee
1/3 cup soy milk/whatever kind of milk
2 dates
2 tablespoons almond or hazelnut butter
1/2 cup ice cubes
1/2 tsp vanilla
optional: cacao nibs

Adding beans and nuts/nut butter to smoothies is an easy way to get more protein.

I'm going to try this with ripple milk, half banana, 1 scoop of peanut cut the beans and add organic vanilla protein powder to cut some of the calories.
Thanks this looks delicious!

You're welcome I have found that the beans and nut butter make a HUGE difference in how full I feel. When I've cut out the beans and/or nut butter, I get hungry again pretty quickly. Instead, I'd cut the dates and use something like Stevia to sweeten it.

Good suggestion. I was having it for an afternoon snack and it was super delicious. But if I wanted this as breakfast the beans and nut butter would be great.

Add ripple milk or good karma flax milk+ protein to any smoothie. Adds about an extra 8 grams of protein for 60-80 calories.
