Favorite luxury car dealership?

I bought 2 bmw’s in Rockville and it was an average experience. Had them serviced there and fairfax bmw. Really no different than my Mazda or Toyota service.

My Audi from Arlington probably has the best service but worst purchase experience.

Bought 3 cars from BMW in Rockville and they suck. But so do all dealerships, and the location is convenient.

By luxury, I mean Acura, Lexus, Mercedes, BMW, Land Rover, Audi, Volvo, etc. - not Bentley, Aston Martin, etc. (those are uber luxury). What is special to you about that dealership? Is your dealership experience sufficient to keep you buying that brand Of car for your next purchase?

Asking about luxury cars in the middle of a pandemic and historic economic downturn? You’d be better off worrying about your next fart!

Considering the overall scope and totality of this comment, and how each element works cohesively together, I am going to award it the prize of the most low class comment I have ever seen on DCUM. Congrats PP, that is quite the achievement!

Bought a bunch of BMW and Audis in my life and it was a mix experience. I am a very good negotiator and usually don't go for experience in buying cars but lower price so it really doesn't matter what they are offering. For servicing, I find BMW silver spring and Sterling to be good and fairfax to be average. Audi Tysons is ok but not super good in looking for problems.

BMW Rockville was terrible. We went on a Saturday last year and it was dead. I knew more about the car than the salesman. It took 30 minutes of waiting before someone helped us in the showroom, despite no other customers around. We then had to wait another 35 minutes for them to bring out a car for a test drive - again it dealership was not busy at all. All of this waiting around was with my 7-month pregnant wife. They didn’t even offer her a water or a chair!

The final straw was when the salesman couldn’t figure out how to connect my iphone to the vehicle’s Apple CarPlay, which was a “must have” feature for us.

Such a waste of time. We went to Fitzgerald Subaru immediately after and drove off the lot that same day with a new Outback that we paid cash. Total schmucks at BMW.

Harley Dealer in Long Island has a biker bar attached. Free drinks, wings etc, pool tables and girls in short shorts is their waiting room

The Lexus dealership down the road has a full gym, bar, catered meals and pool table

My experience with Audi of Arlington has been horrendous. Because of them, I won’t be buying another Audi when it’s time for a new car. Too bad.

Re: Acura

Radley Acura in Falls Church is fantastic. Their sales people are great, and their facility was recently completely renovated. I’ve bought two cars from them in recent years, and Tony in the Sales Dept. was a pleasure to work with. Very knowledgeable, and aggressive with pricing. Service is also great.

Pohanka Acura in Chantilly has a huge selection, but their sales people turned me off. That place is a pit of vipers.

Car salesmen are there to sell cars, not to teach you about the car or how to use it. I know it's odd, but this is just how it is. Serious buyers usually already know about an object that they are going to spend tens of thousands of dollars on and is not interested in being taught how to use the infotainment system. You may feel personally insulted at the way you were treated, but there's likely a good reason why. If they neglected you on purpose, they were probably correct in their reading of you as you walked in through the door. I won't say it doesn't happen, but a person who buys a Subaru on the spot probably had no intention to buy a BMW. That said, I also don't like BMW in Rockville, nor the one in Fairfax VA. I do like the one near Dulles airport, but I only bought one car there and never went there for service. What was funny is that while waiting for my BMW to be prepped for delivery, I walked over next door to the Mini dealership just to walk around and they gave me the keys to a Mini and told me to drive it home to show my wife. Which I did while pretending to my wife that this was the car I bought. My wife thought I was nuts, though she did like the car.

There are none in the DMV. My old town Lexus had a full gym, pool table, movie theater and catered meals.

But my favorite the Harley Dealer in town had a full bar with food like a hooters biker bar that was free if bike being service.

My BMW dealership had WiFi, cable tv, work stations and recliners and fill meals. I used to time oil changes to meal times.

DMV I was shocked just nothing. Terrible

Horrible, horrible ... I caught them trying to sell me a damaged CPO M-B that they claimed was pristine. My body shop and I proved otherwise. The owner is an arrogant, obnoxious little putz (Hi Mark).

Your snark is showing, I buy Subarus, Audis, Porsche, etc. Get the pole out of your sphincter.
