Typical woman logic. |
| Is your wife generally insane? |
PP here. I'm so sorry, OP. It's clear you didn't do anything wrong. Is there any way your wife was projecting her anxiety over this? I hope you heal soon. |
|
I think your wife is anxious if this is not how she normally acts.
I hope you're feelign better! |
Oh THIS makes sense! It's like getting mad at your kids for almost getting hit by a car through no fault of their own. |
|
This is OP’s dream. We are hearing a Freudian wish.

Yeah. my dread was to have a heart attack during a effing pandemic. Nurse helping me get dressed. I know she was not hitting on me. Nurse is 25 years younger than me, maybe more. My wife was probably upset because they would not let her visit. Very scary for her. |
before or after you had the heart attack..also makes a difference (but hope your doing well now). |
I was getting dressed to go home from the hospital after the MI. (thankfully, damage was mitigated/minimal). And by the way, the reason I needed help was I was bleeding from where they just pulled the IV out, and needed to apply pressure on it, So my hands were otherwise occupied. I will admit I try hard to be friendly to all of the staff at the hospital, even when I am not feeling well. I do not think I am flirting...is is hard to be flirty with tubes and wires hooked up...when you have to pee into a bed/urinal. And you are going commando because the last time you peed into the urinal some spilt. As I said the medical care is great, and I am feeling well. |
Exactly. And DW got upset because he was entertaining the idea of "hot nurse seeing his junk". Now there's like 2 women "in competition"
DW got upset because she's been worried for days and this guy comes out and makes it all about hot nurse helping seeing him naked. |
Yeah. I've found that people who feel like they have no control over a situation (so maybe your wife in relation to your heart attack and having potentially lost you) act on weird situations that they feel like they can control. Often it defies logic (a newly paralyzed patient refusing repositioning to prevent a pressure ulcer even though they know how bad they are). I try not to let it bother me. Haha most patients and family members aren't crazy, they can just act irrationally given the stress and anxiety. Now, that's not to say there aren't crazies and jerks out there lol. Op if this is a one time thing, I'd just let it go and figure it was a weird manifestation of her own stress and anxiety. I can't imagine DH being in the hospital with a heart attack and me not be able to see him. I'd be going nuts at home!! |
+1. I see so many penises/testicles/vaginas and breasts of patients that I don't even bat an eye. It's definitely not sexual to me, and these encounters are often so clinical that I can't believe someone would even consider them in a sexual light. Also we are very professional and in all my years of nursing I have never even heard a colleague talk about a person's privates at the nurses station or anywhere! |
