Are you a Peloton early adopter? Do you still use it?

+1 should have bought it when I initially looked into it two years before.

I like fresh air. Once the Corona virus gone I won’t be using the peloton. Waste of money

Used it sporadically before lock down. Now 3 of us use it multiple times per week. I have lost about 12-15 since the beginning of March and am definitely gaining strength. We also do strength, stretching, and yoga.

I bought stock in Feb at $18/share. It closed at $45 on Friday!

I have a 1st Gen bike that I purchased in 2016 and a Tread that I bought in 2019. I use one or both every day for cardio, strength, bootcamps, yoga, and stretching. I quit the gym pre-COVID because prior to WFH, super early morning workouts were the best for my schedule.

I absolutely LOVE it and recommend it to EVERYONE (and have sold many bikes using my referral code-lol). I'm doing the annual challenge and have worked out 14,804 minutes with Peloton so far this year. I'm going to hit 2,000 total classes soon. I'm in several Facebook groups and have friends that I've met through Peloton. The community is amazing.

So, yes, this early adopter still uses it.

one dissenter and they get blasted. *everyone* can't still love it. Sounds better than a traditional exercise bike.

DP. My sweet summer child, this is hardly blasted. Not even barely warm, really. Also, that PP is not a long-term user if she only started using the Peloton during coronavirus, so shouldn't even be weighing in.

You can try the app for free for 30 days. Before you buy. They have other workouts like strength yoga etc too.

I work full time and have a spouse and two kids. Why wouldn't I work?

To the PP who wants fresh air, the Peloton outdoor runs are great. And you can do bodyweight strength, yoga, meditation, cardio and stretches outdoors. Join the party!

Me too, but I don't ride outside during the winter. I like spinning. I don't use it as a substitute for cycling. Two totally different things.

I got mine 2 years ago. Before COVID I would use it 2-3x a week and also went to barre. now I use the bike every day plus have been getting more into the cardio and strength classes online. I plan on buying the tread once they are available again. My office told us we are not going back this year and with so much uncertainty about kids in school in the fall, so figure I'll invest in the home gym.

I can’t remember when i bought ours but it wasn’t too long after they came out (so several years ago). We each have been using it a couple times a week during quarantine. Before, I was much more sporadic - like maybe 3 times a month. DH a lot more often. I like running and biking outside as well as going to the gym so the peloton was more of a backup option to have in case weather was bad or I didn’t have time to head to gym. TBH, lately I don’t even do the classes - instead I watch Netflix while doing the scenic rides. I’m surprised at the number of people who use it so frequently.

3 years in and I use mine about every other day. If I had more time/energy (I have a toddler and preschooler) I would be on there for hours every day. Love it.
