All right, calm down. I have to take my baby n for vaccinations. Our local doctor's office closed and they are sending us to a center in another county. Chiiiill.

Lady. Covid isn’t being spread by Susan from Bethesda, who’s been sequestered in her McMansion with her attorney husband, driving to Frederick County to get her hair cut. The spread is in the nursing homes and the people who work in them, many of whom live in tight quarters amongst other essential workers. Get the nursing homes under control and the outbreaks will sharply decrease.

What a moron. Closing MOCo only hurts the businesses there. Doesn’t mean these residents won’t wander out and get Covid in other areas. Totally stupid move

Yes. 100% agree. We are in MoCo and will drive to whatever restaurants are open nearby in other counties/states.

You are sad, pathetic, self absorbed loser who is endangering literally everyone who interacts with you.

While I certainly hope you don’t get COVID (not because I care about you - I don’t - but rather for the sake of the innocent lives at stake from your selfishness) I will absolutely hope your house burns down while you’re away violating our lockdown somewhere that’s open.

You are scum.

Well, probably not. But possibly so. And if so, then what? Whoops, sorry?

I am against shaming, but you're wrong. 3 families on my little street have been socializing all through the stay-at-home period, and some have parents that going in to work every day. I've seen parties and gatherings while walking my dog in my Bethesda neighborhood.

This is how the virus spreads, PP. Your comment shows how little you understand about it. Nursing homes are infected because workers LIVE IN THEIR COMMUNITY, and exactly like my neighbors, live their lives among people who do not take enough care.

This isn't about rich or poor. There are thoughtless and careless people everywhere.

Because not being able to sit down at a restaurant or get a haircut for a few months is basically a living death.

Scum here. I hope my house burns down too, we can then cash out and move to an even nicer place. I’ll be enjoying dining outside this weekend!

One day, with the right leadership in office, we’ll be able to put antigovernment/anti-science scum like you in prison where you belong. Enjoy your little re-open protests. Because one day soon we will bring the hammer down on you.

Do any of you actually live in Moco? Last time I went to get groceries the traffic was about the same as a normal middle of the afternoon and the store was packed. People aren't on "lockdown".

The crazies who go to other counties to go shopping or get their hair did will make the businesses in MoCo have to deal with stay at home orders even longer. Just chill people, and wait a couple more weeks to have your hair cut.

A couple more weeks isn’t going to cut it, so you might as well quit listening to Sean Hannity or Rush or whoever else keeps telling you that. I trust scientists, not right wing nutters like you clearly listen to. And the consensus of scientists is that the lockdowns will need to continue through fall, at least until mid November, if there is to be any real hope of stopping it.

Stop spewing your right wing propaganda nonsense.

NP here. I thought we only need to lock down to flatten the curve. Hospitals are getting better capacity-wise. That should be in good shape soon.

The economy can't take being closed much longer, or we'll have much worse problems to deal with.
