Life’ll kill ya! |
Sure. Steve Jobs had some serious cognitive impairment. https://www.rollingstone.com/culture/culture-lists/50-most-successful-marijuana-enthusiasts-you-should-know-114790/zayn-malik-3-112209/ |
This is literally only if you smoke habitually (as in, every day or nearly every day) for years. Actually much safer than short- and long-term alcohol use if we’re talking relative physical impairments. |
You can’t get high from CBD. If you actually did, it had THC in it and was mis-marketed and you should report to the FDA. |

Just smoke it. I bought a flower vaporizer recently to reduce my exposure to combustion during Covid 19, and now that I have become used to it and figured it out, I am enjoying it. It has literally the same effects as smoking, seems to make the weed last longer, and there is less of the traditional MJ smell from smoking.
As already mentioned, it is easy to overdo it if you consume it orally like in gummies, etc. Pack a bowl, hit it once or twice and, ta-da! That's it. One of the best parts about widespread legalization will be the wide variety of flower choices. So many different strains and their effects and their THC %. In legal states, this information is clearly posted and you can buy in small quantities so you try different strains and find ones that are right for you. |

NP-Wow things have evolved so much! I haven't smoked in years and it was weed. I didn't realize there were so many new options!
What does flower mean? |
Imagine what more he could’ve done without dulling himself, even incrementally. |
That’s the part of the plant you’re smoking . It’s a flower. A bud. That’s where all the psychoactive THC concentrates in the trichromes on the flowers. Don’t people know this stuff? I know it, and don’t even use weed. I think it’s dumb. |
People do smoke it habitually, every day, for years. Dozens of millions of people. |

I would NOT start with edibles. They're unreliable and you never know. Ive taken an edible from the same batch (purchased at a dispensary in CA) and had to vastly different experiences. The first time I took one I had a nice buzz that lasted a couple of hours. The second time I took one I was almost comatose for a few hours. Couldn't lift my head off the pillow.
Have you ever smoked anything at all, like a cigarette or cigar? If so I'd just start with a joint and take a regular sized hit. You'll feel something right away but it won't last that long and you can figure out once you come down if you took enough, too much or too little. My favorite method these days are vape pens that I bought out in CA right before the pandemic (thank god i bought a lot). They're super easy to use and you don't have to take a lot. |
Op here. This is exactly what I mean; you say “just smoke” but then you say get a vaporizer—is that “smoking?” To me, smoking is a joint or a bowl or bong—actually lighting the weed. Is vaporizing the same thing? |
|
Smoking is applying direct flame: joint or pipe.
Vaporizer is electronic and heats the flower (weed), turning the resin to steam, ideally. I say ideally because nearly every vaporizer will get too hot and the plant matter will smoke some. But it's still less harmful and less smelly than smoking. |
Aren't most of the popcorn lung issues with vaping attributed to marijuana vaping? |
|
I'm also confused by all the new language. I stuffed some green stuff in a bowl, smoked it, had a snack, and went to bed.
Any good resources out there to learn the differences in cdb, thc, different strains and concentrations etc? Any resources for navigating how and where to buy these days? It really has gotten confusing. |
