You do not know what you're talking about! Surrogacy is illegal in every country but the US and it should be illegal here. |
| No wonder folks go to Thailand, India, and Ukraine for surrogacy. Very loose "laws", cheap, and hope for the best. |
No it isn’t. |
Keep up. No surrogacy in India or Thailand for foreigners. |
There was an article in the Post several years ago validating this poster. How everything was great when she was a cute baby, but then she turned 18 and wanted to know where she came from and who her donor was. The donor was anon and this ate her up, never knowing if she had other bio siblings etc, it’s not the same for everyone and I am an adoptive parent but it is a legitimate concern. |
Surrogacy doesn't mean you used an egg or sperm donor. You're obviously completely ignorant about this, so please STFU and stop judging. |
| Mom my showed me this thread. I was born from a gestational carrier and the comment about feeling like a product or goods is ridiculous. I don’t even know how you could come up with that. It’s weird. |
This doesn’t seem that different than any other IVF baby. The parents just hired a full time nanny for the pregnancy. |
Nothing is truly anonymous and there is documentation somewhere of who the sperm came from. With DNA testing its pretty easy to find biological relatives (which is why we don't do it for our child we adopted) |
So incredibly ignorant. Of course you are not goods. It’s lucky stupid isn’t catching. |
Some people will complain about anything. Just yesterday I stubbed my toe and it just ate me up with regrets. |
Wow. You’re comparing stubbing your toe to not knowing your origins???!!?? Yikes, I really hope people like you get screened out during the psychological evaluation - otherwise I feel really sorry for your children. |
+1 |
And what does this have to do with surrogacy? You do know that a woman can use donor egg or sperm or both and carry the pregnancy herself? |
| Watch the documentary called “Made in Boise.” |
