GW also not starting new cycles at this time.
I had an appointment at CFA today and they appear to be still seeing patients, but with a reduced schrdule. My heart goes out to the PP who paid for the donor eggs. My thoughts are with you.
D.C. just closed non-essential businesses, not sure if that will impact CFA and other standalone clinics.
PP who had ERA scheduled- SGF just canceled it.
I went to CFA. They are not planning to close.
I also paid for donor eggs, just got the PGS results back, and am down to two viable embryos. I didn't want to transfer until may anyway, just so I don't run the risk of having a preemie and delivering before the october 1st federal leave implementation. So I am sad but will play this by ear. not really sure I want to be pregnant while all of our hospitals are melting down, anyway.
Mine won't do ERA (considered elective) and transfer because I'd need immune suppresssion protocols. It's a shame when the DC traffic is finally good during this time.
I’m the PP who is also using donor eggs. It’s a fair point about hospitals melting down. On the other hand I’m not getting any younger. How long is reasonable to wait? |
So is CFA starting new cycles or just doing consults?
I mean, I'm probably older than you. (45). It is what it is. The clinic told me to stay on BC and they'll check in every few weeks. In the mean time, I'm trying to eat better and exercise more. I mean, if I had just done a FET and had a missed miscarriage, that would take months of time anyway. I don't know, I'm spending most of my emotional energy on hoping my parents or spouse don't die, and that the city doesn't descend into riots.
