I also paid for donor eggs, just got the PGS results back, and am down to two viable embryos. I didn't want to transfer until may anyway, just so I don't run the risk of having a preemie and delivering before the october 1st federal leave implementation. So I am sad but will play this by ear. not really sure I want to be pregnant while all of our hospitals are melting down, anyway.
I’m the PP who is also using donor eggs. It’s a fair point about hospitals melting down. On the other hand I’m not getting any younger. How long is reasonable to wait?
I mean, I'm probably older than you. :) (45). It is what it is. The clinic told me to stay on BC and they'll check in every few weeks. In the mean time, I'm trying to eat better and exercise more. I mean, if I had just done a FET and had a missed miscarriage, that would take months of time anyway. I don't know, I'm spending most of my emotional energy on hoping my parents or spouse don't die, and that the city doesn't descend into riots.
