Delaying TTC due to coronavirus

We didn’t delay and now I’m 7 weeks. No regrets.

What info did you have at the time? Because counting back, it wasn’t much.

PP here: ok? Even if we had more info, we’d still have tried. It’s just dumb to delay TTC because of this. Especially if you are 30+.

Same. If I have to "work from home" with DH, you better believe we'll TTC.

This has been on my mind a lot the past few days. I absolutely do not feel comfortable ttc right now. Things have been changing drastically from hour to hour. My husband and I both have jobs that are recession and covid-19 proof, but who knows what this is going to look like in the coming weeks/months.

We decided to delay ttc too.

Is there any official guidance?

lol, we’ve been trying for two years and have pretty much given up. Crossing fingers for a quarantine baby over here!

I remember being pregnant during the Zika craze and it was hard for me because I have generalized anxiety.

I say, if you are someone with health anxiety, wait to conceive. The next few months is going to be a rollercoaster of crazy. But if you are chill AF, go for it!

I would definitely wait.

I would not want to go to doctors or have checkups, I wouldn't want to risk health risks to me or baby if we get it.

This could be a year wait though.

Seriously?! I'm 32 weeks and freaked out! At 26 weeks I caught a flu-like cold that landed me in the hospital. In no way, shape or form would I have planned this. Imagine - I get it and am put on a ventilator or worse, need emergency care to save my life in the middle of a huge crisis here. Yeah, really, really bad.

Besides the fact that businesses are poised to shutter everywhere. The economy is going to crap. There goes my job. Wrong time, completely.

If the woman is over 30 i wouldn't delay, anything older than 33 is high risk and declined fertility

You really need to calm down.
