| I don’t give two craps what other people think of my car. I’m a point A to point B kind of driver. |
| Several years back I had this same thing happen. I bought a car that I thought was a smart purchase. But I hated it. I traded it in immediately (in less than a week) and of course took a giant financial hit. As they say, the minute you drive the car off the lot there is huge depreciation. If you can afford the financial hit, fine. But if not, I would stick with it. |

It's a car, it's new and gets you from place to place. Who cares?
If you are a two car family and feel this emotionally about cars, make an emotional decision about your next car. Or make an emotional decision about this car and take a financial hit. It's up to you. |
| Never compromise on this stuff. Should have bought the Jeep Wrangler that you know you wanted. Sure, it’s not comfy, practical or thrifty on gas but you will never feel it doesn’t look cool. It will get you through the worst weather DC has to offer and when the sun comes out and the top comes down and the doors come off, there is no better feeling. |
| I would just keep it for 2 years and then sell it if it was still a disappointment. |
Those look so silly. |
| I don’t understand how all these people don’t care about what they drive. We are in our cars so often, every day, that it would be dispiriting to drive such a joyless car. |
Omg we were gifted with a Cube. A generous gift and we still have it 8 years later, but omg it is the last vehicle we would have picked and it is so ugly! |
| We had the same issue. Got rid of it right away. |
Speak for yourself. I drive as little as possible, which amounts to about twice a week. I commute by metro, which is largely wonderful. Only drive the car on weekends for grocery shopping or schlepping kids to lessons or play dates or playgrounds. Plus occasional long-distance trips. We have a basic, standard car - Hyundai Sonata. It's a good size, gets good gas mileage, is sturdy, but nothing flashy. Great car. We've had it 7 years and it's going strong. |
I’m barely ever in the car. We mostly just drive it on the weekend for errands or kid activities, so it really doesn’t matter much to me. |
Yes, so silly that it’s basic design has stood the test of time for over 75 years. What did your Audi do to overthrow fascism and keep the world safe for democracy?

| Trade it in. I bought a car that I ended up hating and traded after one year. Like the pp said above, if you can absorb the financial hit just do it. Learn from the mistake and find something you will like long term. Other posters are being too harsh. |
| You should sell it. You will get more than if you trade it in |
| I guess Op was a troll or just forgot she posted? |
