NOGA Dahi from costco.

Only Dahi that tastes close to homemade dahi made in terracotta vessel.

You must have bad luck to the yougurts that you tried. Some of them suck. Nowadays more organic
and fresh ones are available and they taste really good.

For the oatmieal if you want to go gaga happy get an oatmeal, raw a cup..
pour cup milk in it, put in the fridge overnight with handful of raisins and chopped nuts
and just eat in the morning. this is magic, the fridge will cook it for you. hahaha
no no cooking needed really and I am not even talking quick oats, but regular oats.
They are so soft and so delicious and milk get thickened and it is just the next level
divine.

Also try Indian drink Lassi.. or make it at home:
Cup of plain organic yougurt, one mango, spoon of rose water,
touch of milk if it is too thick to make it drinkable.

Yaaaaaam..

I didn’t care for Noga. There’s nothing special about it IMO. I like the cream-top yogurts the best, Brown Cow and Hawthorne Valley.

I could eat that Oui yogurt everyday. It's so good.

Like PPs, I lost my sweet tooth. At 40, I'm much more interested in savory food now. And I used to eat dessert at lunch and dinner in my 20s.

Can yogurt be fried? That might work for me.

I never liked yoghurt when growing up, even though I had a decently sweet tooth as a child. It was always too sweet and a weird blend of sweet and sour.

But as an adult I love yoghurt. The variety on offer today is so much better than 20 years ago. I now make my own and it's practically just a very heavy, slightly tangy, cream. My sweet tooth has also declined and I prefer savory these days.

I like the almond or coconut yogurt. They have probiotics and taste great plain - and with fruit/granola mixed in.

Yogurt isn’t any better for you than a 5 cent glass of milk.

So true - commercial yogurt has gotten so much better in the past 5-10 years. You used to choose between the plasticy-tasting sugar bombs, or the "healthy" yogurts that were somehow bland and sour at the same time. Now, I also mostly make my own, but there are varieties available that actually taste rich and creamy. Full fat definitely helps, I'm so glad the 80s "fat free" craze ended.

I also really prefer overnight oats to cooked oats. It's totally a texture thing. Cooked oats just turn to mush. Flavorless mush. Overnight oats (I use milk, peanut butter and maple syrup) have more flavor and a nice chew to them. Delicious.

We are yogurt lovers here, but my tastebuds are definitely changing in middle age—I enjoy bitterness so much more. Maybe that’s what’s happening for you.

Re: yogurt—if you have an Instant Pot you can make yogurt in it! It’s incredibly smooth.
