What about a Lifehammer? You use it to break out of your car, like in a flash flood. Practical, inexpensive, and not something a lot of people would think to buy.

If there was a Nessie soup ladle in our office white elephant swap, I would fight someone for it. I've always wanted one of those, but can't rationalize buying it for how little I'd use it.
I randomly wandered into the Spencer's at Tysons earlier this year and ended up buying Golden Girls knee socks for my sister, who loves the Golden Girls. And then, because they had a buy one/get one 50% off sale, I bought a pair for myself too. Those would be a hit. |
