High waisted jeans aren't flattering

This is misleading because the left is either the wrong size or a a poor fit. The right still makes her butt cheeks look strangely long.

Please stop all deluding yourselves that you look attractive in mom jeans. You don’t. You just don’t.

Not really because with low rise everyone had to go with the wrong size since there’s no natural anchor to keep them from slipping and looking all droopy butt. Muffin top was everywhere. With the high waisted pair, she can wear an untucked shirt and create the same proportions but her hips are smooth.

They look good on hourglass figures. You don’t have an hourglass figure. Therefore they don’t look good on YOU.

As someone with tiny boobs, big hips, and too much ass high waisted jeans are a god send. My only regret was that I bought in to the 'unattractive mom wear' slander that the Buttcrack On Display Lobby branded them with for so long.

Have someone take a pic of your backside in your high waisted jeans. Look at it and swear you don't look like "mom" or a pregnant spider.

To PP, high waisted jeans are the new trend. They haven’t been around for the last 10 years. I love them. I’m tired of squeezing my post baby body into low- or mid-rise jeans with all the extra skin squished up into a muffin top. I just bought some high waisted jeans from the Gap and they are awesome. They make me feel slim at the top (I know this is the definition of mom jeans) and I don’t feel like anything is hanging out. How can that not be flattering? Granted I will probably wear these with sweaters and non-tucked in shirts but I feel good in them. I haven’t bought Gap jeans in over 10 years but I’m going to get some more.

I usually wear them with longer tops/sweaters and non-tucked in shirts, so the look is fairly similar actually. But the fit is much better and more comfortable. PP is right about the low waist being hard to size because there was no natural anchor to hold them up, leading to muffin top even for a slender person.

High waisted skinnies for life!

Actual mom jeans are whatever is ten years behind the trend. Time was pockets under the ass was expected, nowadays it’s more mom than the sink sketch

I hated low rise jeans. Medium rise is probably the most universally flattering but depends on your figure.

You probably don’t look attractive with butt crack and muffin top showing either. You just don’t. Sorry!!

This. Except I equate high waisted jeans to mom jeans.

Give her something that says, I'm not a woman anymore, I'm a MOM!
