Kid in my child’s call wears pajamas to school everyday.

My kid wore a rash guard shirt every day at that age. It saved me an endless tantrum every day, now she's in elementary and wears a uniform like all the other kids.

Your kids don’t wear underwear to bed?

I’m more concerned about the adult driven crazy by this than I am about the child in pajamas or his parents.

They weren’t pajamas and weren’t “slept in”, but were very pajama-like in terms of softness. I wanted them to be comfy all day and especially during nap. I never understood parents who put coarse-looking jeans or high boots or other constrictive clothes in kids.

Op, perhaps, you are annoyed because it is simply aesthetic, you like a more put together, effort made, fresh look, which can also be comfy?

Yup

Ha sorry OP this is my kid. He has the rest of his life to wear a uniform or a suit. It’s preschool! Kids are playing, painting, jumping, singing, dancing ....

OP, what we’re wearing at drop off?

If it was leggings, you have no ground to stand on. Just sayin.

Not with pjs. I think that’s pretty common. Clean underwear goes on in the morning when they get dressed.

My kid wore costumes every damn day. I suppose that would have bugged you too.

Costumes are cute. Those kids seem like they have fun parents. Pajamas look sloppy. Those kids look like they have lazy parents and they probably didn’t bother to brush teeth or hair.

It would bother me too. I think it's because it tells me that those kids are in charge and the parents are push overs. OTOH, I know it's irrational because it does not affect me at all.

NP, but mine doesn’t. When we first night trained, we went sans undies as it made him more aware and less likely to wet the bed, and I guess it just stuck. Now he clearly prefers no undies under pjs.

My kid doesn’t wear pjs to school, but I think a lot of his clothes probably look like pjs.

My kids are older now, but at that age, they wore 100% cotton top and 100% cotton pants with drawstrings to bed, and then wore the same outfit to preschool so I didn’t have to change them in the morning. They seem to have survived and are doing well in school.

Sometimes you let them pick their own outfits. Crazy, I know!
