it is difficult to find and pjs work in the meantime. |
+1 I bet deodorant is considered “gross” too! Lol. |
+1 And if you fart, it goes directly onto the pajama bottom instead of being contained in underwear. Gross! Also, sometimes pee leaks when people laugh. I’d want all of that contained in actual underwear which you then remove in the morning. |
Y’all think about butts way too much. |
My DS only wore pajama bottoms and a pink fleece top for about 6 months when he was 3. It was the only thing he wanted to wear so I bought a bunch of them. Every night he’d have a bath, a new set would go on (with Thomas the Tank Engine underwear), and he’d wear it to school the next day.
He is now 15. He is smart, handsome, popular, athletic, and wears a variety of fashionable clothing. Probably because he got to wear the same awesome outfit every day when he was 3. It definitely bothered Colin’s mom because she kept bringing it up. She was super annoying and kind of a loser. Don’t be like Colin’s mom. |
I wouldn’t want them dirty or slept in, but yeah I hate the little man look. |
Why the snark? Others have shared too. |
I’m pretty sure it’s the same person responding poorly to everyone. |
Don’t know about boys, but our ped recommends no underwear at night for girls. The vagina needs to breathe. Being cooped up in underwear 24/7 is more likely to lead to an infection. |
See, I think that’s gross. I would never out clean freshly showered children into dirty last-night pajamas. Clean pair every night, clean underwear is put on in the morning. I wonder what the mom obsessed with butt juice (???) will do when her teenager or tween sleeps without clothes on...change the sheets every day? |
So young children wearing pjs to school = parents not buying regular clothes? Wow, what a leap. You know, getting some preschoolers to school is a battle.and if letting them wear pjs means one less battle, I’m cool with it. |
lighten up. this is an anonymous forum and pretty much every post is like this. I agree with OP. it seems super lazy on the parents part to not be able to dress their kid. Plus those PJs get filthy at school and no kid should be sleeping in those at home after school either. |
If you can't get your 3 year old into regular clothes everyday then you need to rethink your parenting. I have had plenty of battles with my kids but its pretty basic that we don't wear PJs to preschool. |
A kid in my child’s class wore a skeleton costume every day. They’re 3. Simmer down, OP. |
You really have no idea what battles those parents are fighting. Seriously, use your feelings on this to really try to stop being so judgmental. I have never sent my kids to school in pajamas but it wouldn't bother me in the least if someone else did. And I'm a pretty anal retentive, Type A person, but this literally affects me not at all so I don't know why I'd care. |
