Ellen Degeneres yucking it up at football game with Pres. George Bush...gross

Watch bush when he was on Jimmy Kimmel. He was hysterical. I’m a Democrat, btw

I like this tweet:

He's a war criminal, Ellen. Directly responsible for the murder of 100s of thousands of Iraqis, largely women, children, and the elderly.

What's it like to be this shamelessly desperate for "access" and attention?

I'd add over 4,500 dead American servicemen and over 35,000 wounded.

Ellen is so gross and creepy. Why is she always calling hot celebs decades younger than her "great friends"? She's a 61 years old baby boomer. It's not cute or normal to have millennial "friends" in their teens, 20s and 30s.

Her enormous wealth insulates her from the very things Bush and co. sought to impose on people like her . Had he had his way with his constitutional ban on same sex marriage she wouldn't be able to utter the words ' my wife's today . The fact that she dismissively brushes that aside to peddle some neo-spiritual nonsense ( she lives in California I get it ) is pretty done deaf .

I won't even get into the fact that scores of innocent Americans got maimed in a war based on a lie, to say nothing of the hundreds of thousands of iraqis who lost their lives senselessly. We're talking about a man who was sleeping at the wheel when 9/11 occured despite repeated and persistent warnings of the intelligence community. This is the man some of you think is worthy of any praise ? The mediocrity of the current oval office occupant shouldn't be an excuse to whitewash the atrocity of epic proportions that the Bush presidency was.

AFREAKINGMEN! OP is what is so wrong with this country.

NP you're not an authority on dishing out awards to anybody in this country . There are scores of Americans out there who are amputated because the man you and your trope seem to romanticize now sent them to die knowing fully well we had no business being in a war in Iraq

Re-read what I highlighted and quote where I praised Bush. I’ll wait.

This isn’t about praising Bush. It’s about praising friendship with war criminals. Do you hold Bush accountable for the war in Iraq or not?

I agree. Your friends should only be +/- 5 years of your actual biological age. What is she thinking? Her friends should only be other baby boomers. It's super gross.

I’ve never heard of anyone not liking him as a person. See him and the Obamas every time they are seated at an event together.

Yup.

OP, you fail this time.

But Obama is not blonde or gay.

Ellen is both.

+1. Careful OP, you sound envious.

Being a social pariah is the tiniest punishment possible and completely appropriate.

Technically, you are correct. But practically speaking, Bush was manipulated by Cheney and his cronies. To be blunt: Bush isn’t very bright, and he was easily manipulated.

(a) they weren't there together - they were invited by the family
(b) they're friends
(C) even if they weren't friends - you should be kind and civil to everyone, even if you disagree with them politically

(D) you sound like a jerk.

Am I allowed to say, “Meh, don’t care”?

So you’d be cool sitting next to R.Kelly?

I think the Trump administration has taught us that stupidity, no matter how benign, is never an excuse from being responsible for your actions.

If the president of another country was responsible for the death of 100,000 Americans, would you accept “yeah but he is kind of dumb?” as an excuse. Am I to believe that the lives of those Iraqi people are simply worth less?
