I saw Dr. Moragianni at CCRM. She had a great bedside manner and lots of new ideas. I think it could definitely be worth a consult. Best wishes! |
NP - She is great ... I went to Dr. Payson at CCRM, but had her for monitoring sometimes and really liked her. |

I recognize the PP from her previous posts. PP, I am so thrilled for you.
However, after reading about CCRM and it’s great lab etc., I also left GW (after many failed cycles) and went to CCRM NOVA for my last cycle. It was absolutely disastrous. I would recommend that people be very careful before trusting CCRM Nova. |
I left Dominion for CCRM Nova and have had success, as did 2 other friends. I’m sorry you didn’t have a good experience, but that doesn’t mean no one else did. |

OP here... i did SG and CCRM both could not help me. I did work with DR.M from CCRM.
Felt very doomed after she also could not help me. Looking at CCRM CO... I guess i need a miracle. |
PP here (who had success with Dr. M). I’m really sorry. Even though I had a poor experience with him, have you consulted with Dr. Frankfurter at GW? My 4-year-old niece is a day 2 transfer success story. My SIL had severe DOR. There are so many variables involved in finding success that it is impossible to control them all or to know which one of them will work best unfortunately. |
what was so terrible? |

I’m so sorry, OP. We all can certainly understand your frustration and sadness. I agree with other posters that it is time to go to a new clinic and see a new specialist. I am presuming you have played around with different protocols and lots and lots of testing, so I won’t list out all the different types of testing and therapies you can try as I’m sure you already know all of them.
However, I will say that after several failed rounds I had success with an untested day 2 embryo. I know it’s not common to transfer this way, but it was what worked for me. During my cycles, I had a decent number of eggs during retrievals, a 100% fertilization rate every cycle, and a good number of embryos, but they would not make it to day 5 or 6. I changed up the plan to transfer earlier and it worked. I know it is controversial to many people here to do that but I am a big advocate of trying something different if what you have been trying is not working over a sustained period of time. I know three people who have healthy, awesome kids who started out as today embryos. Please let me know if you have any questions, and wishing you lots and lots of luck! |
What clinic? |

If you've suffered multiple failed cycles with DMV clinics then do yourself a favor and look at some of the overseas clinics. The biggest different I've seen from their patients so far is that the overseas clinics test everyday, constantly adjust medications and seem to tailor treatment to the individual body. Something the baby factories around here DO NOT do. They use a checklist. You do your meds, trigger and see you in 36 hours for retrieval. They really don't care or catch if your follicles needed a day longer or a day earlier - they know you'll be back with your checkbook.
Bottom line, there is a reason these overseas clinics are getting higher live birth rates than our area Docs. I can't help but think it is the daily monitoring and medication adjustments. Check out the live birth rates for Caribbean and Mexican clinics. |
Which ones would you recommend? |
