However, I will say that after several failed rounds I had success with an untested day 2 embryo. I know it’s not common to transfer this way, but it was what worked for me.  During my cycles, I had a decent number of eggs during retrievals, a 100% fertilization rate every cycle, and a good number of embryos, but they would not make it to day 5 or 6. I changed up the plan to transfer earlier and it worked.  I know it is controversial to many people here to do that but I am a big advocate of trying something different if what you have been trying is not working over a sustained period of time.
