There will be less skiing, less snorkeling, less swimming in natural bodies of water. Sports will be played inside.

Doubtful. Even the wealthy can’t avoid air and water pollution and weather catastrophes. The technology for a fully self-sufficient biodome isn’t there yet.

Air and water are cleaner than 40 years ago. [/quote

OP here. A lot of my worry is for my family back home in the Middle East. The entire region may become uninhabitable in our lifetime.

It’s always been uninhabitable, it’s only modern tech that made it support population now. They will find a way to live there.

I’m more concerned about the economic opportunities for my kids and grandkids than global warming.

You know what's making this country worse, and that will affect your children's lives profoundly and in a negative way?

Massive, continued immigration from the Third World.

Unlike global warming, this is a real problem AND it is possible to do something about it. Except you don't want to, because your crazed ideology insists muh diversity is strength.

Also if you don’t want massive continued immigration from the third world maybe you should push for for example a foreign policy that doesn’t push wars, regime change etc. Maybe you should push for trade policies that doesn’t exploit other populations. Maybe you should push for environmental policies that focus on combating climate change so people don’t have to leave their homes because of an environmental disaster. Most people don’t want to leave their countries. They leave because they have very little choice.

No it has not been uninhabitable. It is the birthplace of civilization.

Um, I think that's too much truth and common sense for the PP.

To compare immigration problems to climate change is the height of ignorance. What an utter moron.

'Merica at its finest: Nothing matters but me, and me, and me, and oh, yeah, me. I'm too ignorant and uneducated to see the connections between anything or how anything is important other than me, right in this moment and place.

I think about the human effect on our environment and what it means for my kids' future several times daily.

In a word, YES.

I am very concerned about my kids future. Between the fact-free and hate bubble of current politics and the state or our environment, I fear that their lives are going to be very hard. I worry about how they will be able to raise families of their own.

It’s way more than 100 years away.

Far less than that.

You don’t seriously think the human race will die out in less than 100 years?! Moron.
