People don’t typically go to wineries to get sloshed. We have a picnic and drink 1 glass of wine apiece. Don’t be ridiculous! |
Parents who believe children should welcome everywhere are annoying as F. |
Well many wineries are welcoming to kids, reflected in both the menu and games, etc. available to them, so maybe your beef should at least partially be with them. |
I'm the biggest teetotaler you can imagine. By choice and not by religious to boot! I am just not into the whole drinking thing. It completely escapes me and wine does nothing for me. Even I have no problem taking kids to wineries. It sounds like a fun family outing. |
THIS. ISN'T. EUROPE. |

I'm sure the indoor play places won't be crowded at all on a rainy weekend day. |

Ok Karen. We get it. You’ve never been anywhere but Orlando and you do not approve of those freewheeling European ways. |
lol at all the pearl clutchers in this thread!
i've never been to a winery that wasn't full of kids. if you're drinking so much that you can't drive afterwards, then yes, you're irresponsible, but i've not seen this happen. usually one parent has a glass of wine and the other gets to drink more. many wineries even have special activities for the kids so the parents can relax and enjoy their time. |
+1000 I'm a million years old, and back in the day kids weren't hidden away. adults and kids had different lanes, but inhabited the same spaces. |
And this is why we don't go to wineries. |
Dad will handle those problems. Him stepping up and figuring how to keep them safe and happy is the best Mother’s Day Gift he could provide. **pours merlot into glass** |
