Move in with a newborn or stay in apartment I hate?

You are just an attention hungry contrarian. You come here asking for advice and then argue WHY you can't do any of the things suggested. What you ultimately decide won't matter because you will find reasons to be unhappy then come here and bitch about it. Many women that live in homes with stairs have had csections and lived to talk about it and some have told you here it was not a problem.

It’s not no stairs, but limited stairs. I know multiple people who felt better within two weeks and had issues bc of increased activity/stairs. But if you’re careful and don’t overdo it, you’ll be fine.

If you put the stairs aside, I really think it's a bad idea to move with a newborn. I mean maybe if the baby was at least 2 months but after 1 week? Are you guys nuts?

PP this is a totally different situation. They were already MOVED INTO the house with stairs. OP is going to move right after major surgery and it could very well be 1 week after surgery.

I wouldn’t move twice. Move once to a townhome.

OP here: It's not an easy choice. We had moved to many cities in such a short time. I thought they would give us the same lease length for the new apartment so this is a bit of a surprise. I wish we could move to a townhouse now but my husband isn't supportive. It feels like we just moved and it was brutal. We put all of our stuff into storage and went on vacation to visit family abroad for a month before our last move. We then had to come back and move our things out of storage and to the new city. I haven't even unpacked everything.

I understand. Between this post and her earlier one, she argued why she could not take any of the actions suggested by others. So why come here and ask for input? She is arguing why it's a bad idea to move to townhouse. Fine. But why are you here asking us what we think if you already know what you think on the matter?

PP why don't you list all those options? I am very curious what sort of options people have to get away from noisy neighbors? OP said they cannot afford to move. It baffles me how people on here cannot seem to understand this. Some people do not have money to blow.

OP here: I did find an option and I found one that will cost only moving fees. They're willing to let use switch apartments. You're just out to be a bit**

So your options are:

1) stay in current apt with annoying neighbors until 6 months after your baby is born and then move to a townhouse.

2) move now to a new apt and then move the same week you are to give birth to #2 to a townhouse.

I'd vote hands down for #2. It's not even a debate. I'd do whatever I could to tolerate your neighbor situation (I have no read that thread) and move after you've had the baby.

OP here: You know what, I went over our lease and they do month to month here instead of signing a new lease. I think it's best to wait a few months after the baby arrives to move. I am ok.

Then why did you pick #2?

That's great. Switch apartments then.

I would pick # 1 too. Moving twice would be a bigger pain than annoying neighbors.
