honestly most kids are sick all the time at that age if they are in daycare or preschool -mine had cold after cold - since kindergarten my second grader hasn't been sick (knocking on wood). . .

If it's not a food allergy issue, puree vegetables and hide them in the food he does eat; think Jerry Seinfeld's wife had a cookbook that is all about this, there are probably others out there.

Definitely children's vitamins. And, does he like higher fat dairy, like cheese? I would make sure he is getting full-fat dairy, so he has enough protein / calories to thrive.

He's collecting his immunities...his immune system will work better at 5 when he is ...immune to the things he already caught.

OP here. No joke, unfortunately it is sensory issues that he does not eat meat or vegetables. He has an official diagnosis of oral motor issue & he is currently on feeding therapy & OT therapy. Therefore, it takes a lot more efforts to get him to try a tiny bite of food, sometimes it is not he won't eat it, but it is he can't eat it.

I would follow your OT's recommendations on how to get him to eat vegetables. Until then, I would probably do a lot of pediasure.

As far as strengthening his immune system, the only things I know of that work are getting properly vaccinated and getting your child playing outside in the dirt.

LOL. Not OP, but why wouldn't a kid eat meat or veggies? coz he is 3, thats why! I am sure you perfect ones eat everything, but a lot of kids don't. Newsflash!!
PS- Why so grumpy and judgmental?

Exercise, enough sleep, healthy eating, and a happy outlook on life will make it work better.
Drinking lots of water probably doesn’t hurt.

Agreed there are no silver bullets. Don’t believe any marketing hype about any food. There is no evidence that any single food boosts your immune system.

Exercise, sleep, solid diet, low stress. That’s all you can do.
