Strong border security and immigration reform will help minimize if not eliminate these serious crimes. Without the wall/fence, immigration reform, it would be hard to stop human trafficker and drugs.

And democrats had the house, senate and presidency recently too.. and did nothing on e-verify or even reform because this is their favorite wedge issue. At the end of President Obama's time they did push through amnesty (via DACA) and tried to push it through for the parents of Americans too.
