Looks like it's stopped here in Silver Spring.

I'm guessing delay.

But one thing is for sure- it is beautiful out there! These large flakes are making me happy (as long as I am warm and comfortable in front of my fireplace!),

that means NOTHING, Rockville is an incorporated city!!! They have their own plows!!! You think MCPS is gonna let busses freeze, break down and crash because your cozy car-driven kid needs to get their fix of education? Wow

Open. No chance of even a delay. There's no snow out there and everything already melted

Op here. Now I am thinking we will have a delay, but maybe a closure. Does that mean we will take get one less day of spring break?

They had better close an education is worthless if ice patches are everywhere and can cause busses to slides. Ice is dangerous, those of you in incorporated parts of MoCo are in no shape to real judge if school should be open or not.

One thing's for sure, they absolutely made the right call with the early dismissal. Things really started going downhill around 3:30-4:00 with visibility and road conditions, which would have been right when the ES kids were getting out.
