No PCOS, just advanced maternal age. I was thankfully a good responder. I had gotten pregnant two times in the 8 months before going to IVF but had early miscarriages both times. |

No PGS. This was 2011 and 2013 and cost for PGS was still prohibitive although it was available. We transferred two embryos each time because RE said odds of twins would be very low at my age. RE had told me he thought I would have a 35% chance of pregnancy with each transfer based on my response. The SART results I believe are 16% for a live birth per transfer at age 40-42. |

How many cycles did you do: 1 Fresh or Frozen: Fresh What clinic did you use: clinic in MA Your own eggs or donor eggs: own How many retrieved: 13 How many fertilized: 7 3 day transfer or 5 day transfer: 5 day, transferred 2 embryos. Outcome (Live birth, preg but M/C, didn't work, etc): Live birth, twins. |

At 41.3 and 41.9yo:
How many cycles did you do: 2 (actuallly in the middle of second cycle) Fresh or Frozen: Frozon Your own eggs or donor eggs: Own How many retrieved: (1) 15 (2) 19 -- I have PCOS and over respond for my age How many fertilized: (1) 12? Five made it to testing. (2) TBD 3 day transfer or 5 day transfer: (1) No transfer -- all five were PGS-abnormal (2) Waiting to see now how many make it to blastocysts |

SGF Own eggs Retrieved 30 eggs 21 fertilized 11 survived to day 6 5- or 6-day transfer, don't remember Transferred two, one took, DS2 was born (at nearly 42) Nine embryos frozen, then defrosted for PGS and frozen again Four out of nine normal Transferred one, DS3 was born (at nearly 45). |
