| Family of four - every night usually. |
|
Once per day, unless we have company and/or do a big meal, then it is easily twice. We are a family of 4, with one child packing a lunch and one home with a nanny.
We hand wash pots and some other big items. Pre-kids, it was once every 2-3 days. |

Family of 4. Kids always have packed lunches but in yumboxes so those are always washed by hand. Our lunches (not always packed) are in glass or plastic tuperware so also washed by hand (I hate putting plastic in dishwasher ... never dries or feels clean enough).
Right now, we run about 3 times a week but our dishwasher sucks so it can't be very full. If it was a proper dishwasher probably even less. We moved here from NYC where we didn't have diishwashers so just tend to hand wash a lot. I like it better actually. |
Same. I make breakfast for all 3 of us, we all 3 pack lunches for work/school, and I cook dinner every night. I don’t have time for dishes. Sometimes we go two days without running it though. And I do hand wash water bottles, coffee making equipment, and certain glass items. |
| Family of 3. Every other day. |
| At least every day - family of 5. I hand wash pots as well. |
| Wow. I prefer to wash dishes because it kills me when DW puts in an enormous tupperware on the bottom shelf taking up all the space. 2 times/wk MAX. We are a family of 4. To the people running every day...WHAT?? |

Family of two. Every other day.
I handwash my cookware and knives. |
| Once a day. Sometimes twice. |
Same. And we also eat breakfast and homemade dinner here everyday |
This. But it works out to maybe every 3 days. |

Family of 4. 2 kids with lunch containers but not used in lunches every day. I’d say it evens out to about 7 times a week. Some days we don’t run it, some days twice.
It depends on how much I cook. |
| Family of four. Run it pretty much every night. I hand wash anything plastic, and most pots and pans. |
