How many people on this forum (50+) with kids in elementary?

50 with kids 19, 17, and 9. We are on the older end for 4th grade parents in our youngest's school, but there are a significant number who are older than us.

I'm 52 and I had younger ones in elementary until last year. Kids are 14, 12 and 11. Youngest in 6th grade now - middle school in DC.

OP here--I just turned 50 and have a 9 and half year old and 4 year old and DH is 56.

We are in Bethesda where older parenting is supposed to be common but I don't feel like I see that many parents my age at kid places.

One of my close friends is in Bethesda and is 58 with a 12 year old (and a 16 yo). So when she was your age she had a 4 yo. She says she’s definitely on the older side compared to the other parents in her younger kids class. I’m the same age and my kids have both graduated from college (and I was over 30 when both were born so not exactly a teen mom or anything!)

Could easily be the mom of a few of the teachers and even some of other the parents.

Middle school now, but we both turned 50 while youngest was still in elementary.
