Underwear that doesn't emphasize "muffin top"

I love Calvin Klein Seamless, they have them at Nordstrom, I used to have the same muffin top problem with other underwear styles, but this one really works for me.

The muffin top look is in. Yum.

Commando high rise briefs. They smooth you out without feeling restrictive. They'll be higher than your low rise pants but it works!

I recently got these and really like them: https://www.gap.com/browse/product.do?pid=232388422&cid=1015391&pcid=1015387

The lace top isn't so elastic-y that it digs in. Usually hipsters creep up by cheeks, but these don't.

I buy my underwear at Costco and have found hipster with a lace waistband don't seem to cause as much muffin top.

And FWIW, underwear that doesn't come up high enough is what is causing the muffin top!

Bingo, if you don't want muffin top, you have to wear higher rise pants and then higher rise underwear.

Yes. I'm heavier than the OP, but just bought some anti-muffin-top briefs and they look like granny undies but they work. I don't mind that they're taller than my pants, as my shirts cover that.

+1 I don't wear crop-tops so it doesn't matter that my underwear is higher than my pants. Just more comfortable that way.

I wear mid to high rise pants 99% of the time, but I really don't want underwear up to my belly-button. That's just a bit much. I'd like to at least look somewhat sexy in these things.

Not talking about wearing underwear up to your belly button. But unless you wear something that goes over the muffin top area (be it higher waist underwear or higher waist pants), nothing will cover it.

You could also wear a bodysuit and accomplish the same thing from the other direction. But simply said, if you have extra rolls and you want them to look smooth instead of bulging, they need to be smoothed from above the roll to below it rather than having fabric cutting into it.
