Just moved to CCMD, who should we vote for?

Elrich is way too left for my taste. I'm voting Hogan and either Floreen or maybe even Ficker. Floreen and Elrich are both term-limited (thanks to Ficker) county council members. If they have all these great ideas for change, why didn't them implement them during their 12 years on the county council?

Ficker is a nationally known crackpot.

Don’t vote for Ficker.

+1. No one should be voting for Ficker. He’s documented as having assaulted people.

Hogan and Floreen

I’m voting for Jealous because Education has been deteriorating under Hogan and his budget which prioritized expensive infrastructure for the exurbs and rural Maryland. I don’t like that Hogan refused to take a stand against Trump’s Muslim ban or Kavanaugh. Plus businesses are moving out of Maryland at a rapid rate. What’s the point of having a Republican for Governor of Maryland? We have the high taxes anyway with none of the social benefits.
As for Floreen, she sucks. She wouldn’t even allow a hearing on school overcrowding for the Bethesda plan, which adds a lot of residential housing in two areas with extremely overcapacity schools. She is in the pocket of real estate developers.

I'm voting for Jealous as a protest against Trump's GOP. I haven't decided between Floreen and Elrich.

Dumb move.

I moved to MoCo recently and didn’t vote in the primary because all the descriptions of Democrats in the voter info they send you said the same thing.

I'm all for more women in office - I wish more women had prevailed in the primary - but DO NOT VOTE FOR THIS WOMAN.
She is simply meanspirited and condescending. She is terrible with handling concerns of actual people, if she doesn't think she or her real estate friends will benefit from what you have to say, she'll ignore you. She acts like she always knows more than you and is better than you. She is everything Hillary Clinton got wrong in 2016 times a thousand.

Posts like this will have the opposite effect of what you intend. Just FYI.

Well that’s dumb. Regardless of party affiliation why wouldn’t you use your brain and vote for the right candidate instead of party lines? This is why were in the mess were in.

I’m voting for Hogan and Nancy.

If that's what you want, then suit yourself. Don't say you weren't warned. Sorry, but that's my experience.
It isn't as if I am the only person saying this, either. Ask anyone (who is not in real estate) who has had to interact with her and you will get the same answer. She simply is not a nice person. If someone is so contrarian as to vote for someone just because an angry constituent says this, well, then that shows that people who support her are decidedly contrarian and nihilistic. Go ahead. I'd take Ficker OR Elrich over her. I'd take my dog over her. Dogs are at least lawyer. This woman is so dismissive of everyone who disagrees with her.

*Loyal not lawyer. See, you see where my mind is, thinking about her. She's so awful there are no words.

This seems a bit over the top. Let me guess: You’re an Elrich fan.

+1. If you live in Chevy Chase, your public school is likely way over capacity. Nancy Floreen does not care and rubber stamps anything the developers want. I didn’t vote for Elrich in the primary but he is better than Floreen.
