I'm up at 3:30-3:45 to hit the gym at 4:30 while it's empty. Im in my classroom by 6:30, and out at 2:30 I'm usually in bed around 10-10:30.
I've never needed much sleep, mostly because I keep my energy level so high from exercise. I'm in the gym twice a day, mornings before work, and afternoons before I get home. |
| Up at 5, in bed at 9ish, but can never fall asleep before 2am. I’m a walking zombie. |
| In bed at 930, usually asleep by 10-1030. By the time Friday rolls around I am a hot mess. I definitely need more than 6-7 hours of sleep a night |
| I go to bed at 11pm. Up by 530am. I feel like I get plenty of sleep. |
| I naturally wake up by 5 most days and lights out around 9:30. No caffeine after noon. |
| I'm up at 4:45- I try to be winding down close to 9 and hope to be asleep by 9:30/10. It's never enough sleep though. |
| 11-5 worked for me for many years. Then I got a job where I didn't have to be in until 10. I will never again go to sleep before midnight or wake up before 6:30 (if I'm feeling ambitious to workout) or 8:00 (if I want to be lazy over coffee and then haul ass into office). |

I'm tired just reading this. Are you on meth? |
I'm a fellow insomniac! Also up at 5 but rarely can fall asleep before 1 or 2. I don't even bother trying to go in early; it's a lost cause. So much empathy to you! |
+1. Adderall? Phenternine? Cocaine! |

I need a lot of sleep. I don’t have sleep apnea or anything. I’ve always been like this.
I don’t wake up everyday at 5:00, but it’s generally between 5:00 and 5:30. Sometimes, I’m up at 4:00. I don’t use an alarm clock. I go to bed around 9:00, asleep around 9:30. |
| I get up at 4 just to commute and get home in time to pick up kids from sports. I go to bed between 9 and 9:30 but could probably use 1 more hour a night. When I work from home and sleep an hour later it is much better. |
9:30-5:30 is 8 hours, totally normal amount of sleep not “a lot.” |
