This. I'm shocked that you just got a warning. |
| 41 in a 25 = yikes. Especially if there were pedestrians around. |
| You are more likely to get pulled over or given a parking ticket towards the end of any month. They have quotas they have to meet and by the last week of the month they are ticketing people for the smallest infraction to get those numbers up. |

OP
Did he hand you a paper warning ticket? If not, unlikely it is documented. But some jurisdictions have paper warnings that I safely assume are in the police system. If fact, I vaguely recall an officer referencing a warning I received years ago. |

Lucky break for you OP.
I seriously doubt it will show up on a DMV check. |
Hmmm....not OP here. I'm an Asian guy in my 50's and over the last 18 years, I've been pulled over about 4 times. 3 of the 4 times by being congenial, apologetic and cooperative, I've gotten a warning. The times I've gotten tickets over the last 20 years, have been by speed and red light cameras where being congenial, apologetic and cooperative mean absolutely nothing.

Totally agree. |
That’s 100% BS and illegal |

There is no official record for your insurance or dmv to see so will not show up to employers or anything like that.
However, the Police have their own system and it will be in their that you were pulled over because your lic plate will come up when they run it as having a " prior". This kind of depends what state you were in and what system they use, so if you were pulled over in MD, MD Police can see this, DC police will not have the same info. |
