| I'm not sure I understand the problem with the outfit. It's far more covered up than usual! |
For real, hilarious. I mean, that PP can’t be serious, right? |
+1. It gets quite funny when Americans preach others about racial issues. Leave your paranoia home. |
Sure it is. But it's a stupid rule and there's no real rationale for doing it. They'll change it real fast if there's a boycott by both players and audience. Better yet people attending should show up in similar outfits. |
You don't get it. Most players and certainly most in the audience would agree with the new rules. Paris is not Vegas, ya know? |
How can you even pretend to know this? |
| Of course they can do what they want but it just makes them look like a bunch of out-of-touch old fuddy-duddies from some bumpkin town. I thought her outfit was fabulous. |
Like in how it was France that won the World Cup, no? How dares that troll Trevor Noah say it was Africa's victory as well. |
| Those players are welcome to play for african teams.... They wanted to play for France. And tons of UK players, etc, are actually playing for their country of origin because these teams are so competetive. It's an honor to represent the adopted country. |

She is wearing the outfit for medical reasons. Not as a fashion statement. And it looks like a wetsuit, there is nothing wrong with it. If she needs to continue to wear the outfit for medical reasons, she should have a dress code exemption.
I hope all the sponsors boycott the Open going forward. |
Perhaps, dude, because I know tennis and Paris pretty well? Stop drinking coke. |
Why don't they go with tradition and make the ladies wear traditional outfits?
What's that you say? Times change? Hmm...but what about TRADITION? |
As another PP said above, have you ever watched Wimbledon? |
Sure, but they're not wearing those dresses in the photographs. Not respecting tradition I guess. |
