Actually there’s a lot of nutritional science as to what is healthy. |
Not pp, but keto diets do have a lot of long term damaging effects. In addition, not eliminating for 3-4 days and keeping all those toxins in your body can't be that healthy. |
NP here, who doesn’t do keto and doesn’t have a dog in this fight. Let me just say, HAHAHAHAHAHA no. Nutritional science is a hot garbage fire. I bet you believe carbs are an essential part of a diet and saturated fat is bad, don’t you? Cause you thought that’s what “studies” say? Spoiler alert, they don’t. |
NP. If you don't think carbs are an essential part of a human diet, I'd like to see you go a month without fiber. Actually wait--no, no I don't. |
Newsflash, the fat and proteins you eat break down into carbs, because YES your body needs carbs. They are an essential part of a diet. Unless all you do is drink water and eat dirt, your body is busy breaking EVERYTHING you eat down into carbohydrates it can use to fuel your brain, heart and muscles. An A&P class or two might help you understand. |

| It takes a while to adjust, and take psyllium fiber. |
| Does anyone have any free recipes or ways to go about getting recipes without paying for a diet plan? |
Reddit, public library, searching on instagram. I like Maria Emmerich. It’s worth it to buy her books but she has some recipes on her website. What she advocates? Protein is a goal, fat- eating up to satiety (but not a goal), 20 carbs limit. (And they count while carbs not net). Also to the person who says protein and fat converts to carbs is incorrect. If you limit carbs, your body goes into ketosis. Where you body converts fats into ketones. Hence it being called “Keto”. |
Whoops I meant whole carbs not net. And again in your macros you don’t need to eat all your fat allowance. Just eat to satiety. |
