Is fresh fruit seriously not that great for us, or do people just eat too much of them?

well, they're not 60+lb overweight to begin with so maybe you should be impressed at their ability to not get fat in the first place

- lost (and maintained) a 60lb weight loss
- eats plant based - mostly carbs. Lots of potatoes, fruit, beans, etc, in nearly unlimited quantities.

Are bananas like a top 5 "healthy" produce/food to avoid? What else is on that list? Potato, I assume.

The rules are different for maintainers than never-fat-types it’s true.

I eat 1-2 bananas a day. In terms of vitamins and nutrition they really cannot be beat.

Look up freelee the banana girl if you want banana craziness.

Eat a banana a day. It's important for potassium and lowering blood pressure, especially if someone is older than 50

It would be nearly impossibly to get fat because you ate too much fruit. If anything, we need to be eating more fruit (and veggies, of course), and fewer processed foods.

But I can not drink like a fish if I eat fruit!

People in cultures that eat fruit don’t gain the 60lbs to begin with...

Are you aware of the growing burden if diabetes in the developing world? For example, as of 2017, the percentage of overweight women in Bangladesh, even rural areas, exceeded the percentage of underweight women. -Public health professional

Absolutely. And it’s because American style fast foods are becoming increasingly prevalent in the developing world. So, yes, if you stop eating traditional foods and adopt an American diet, you’ll still get fat - just like Americans do.

I eat fruits instead of juicing them. However, I eat fruits with a meal and I don't eat fruit after 5pm if I can help it. If I eat a banama, I eat with peanut butter to reduce it's glycymic index. But then I am 50+.
