+1 Back all the way off, OP. |
And by the time you're old enough to go to college, you are old enough to make the choice for yourself about whether to have a glass of juice. |
Have you seen the spread at rich schools? It’s legit amazing. Like a high end Vegas buffet. |
| Wow I feel awful for your kid if she gains weight. You will freak!! |
| Now I want to know which school! |
| Dining Hall OJ is delicious with cheap vodka when you're in college. |
| Dude she will gain 15 pounds then get super sick of all that food and drop it the next year. |
| When I arrived home after freshman year having gained about 10 lbs, the very first thing my dad said to me -- before "hello" -- was, "you got fat." You could give that a try, but I don't recommend it. |
Come sit next to me, and let's continue to trash the hopefully troll OP who is a nightmare. |
|
Tell her to make sure she eats her veggies. Seriously. Start lunch and dinner with a big salad and then go back for your entree items.
Most everything offered is heavily processed and full of sodium. Even the "healthier" options like black bean burgers or portabella mushroom pasta. It doesn't matter if she's walking a lot during the day, the sodium in that crap food is terrible for her! It's why student-athletes get catered meals at a lot of big universities (at least the one I went to). |
| Ha, OP, I told my parents the freshman 15 was from food. Unless you have starved and restricted your DDs food intake, most of those 15 pounds will be alcohol. |
| Surely this is a joke post, yes? |
| show her pictures of fat women who are sad and alone. https://www.tlc.com/tv-shows/my-600-lb-life/ |
| Tell her to start smoking. That's how I avoided the freshmen 15! |
|
Does your DD already have a weight issue, OP? Does obesity run in your family &/or in or her other parent’s family? What about other eating disorders? Have you always restricted her food intake growing up?
Just curious. |
