OP here. I may be a loser and I may need to get a hobby, but I didn't do that one! Maybe I should have clarified s/o in the title.

BTW it's clearly called yellow cake, not chocolate cake.

Maryland, Montgomery County- 39. I call them slides and have never heard of them being called anything else.

We called them both, but this reminds me of the game "Chutes and Ladders." I've been told that in England they call them chutes- is that true?

Another Baltimore native and I concur. They are sliding boards as in "I went down the sliding board and it burned my butt!"
