Looking for a Developmental Pediatrician

My husband also felt that she was a bit closed minded in her assessment of possible contributing factors to our daughters presentation. In hindsight, I wish we had moved on sooner. Our current developmental ped has a much broader swath of knowledge. OP do your homework first

Egh...we really like Belsito and see her as a ped and dev ped. I like that she also went to dental school. We saw Shapiro and he did nothing for us. Wouldn't rule out anything, we left the office with a report that said my kid had deficits (well, duh) and a list of therapists. Gee thanks a lot.

We have had dozens of appointments there (different departments) and only one time have they called to reschedule an appointment and when they did, they were very accommodating with rescheduling. I’m sorry to hear this has happened to you.

+1. So sorry this is happening to you. I have had other departments cancel only 2x in recent memory, but once they actually were able to get us in earlier (we had scheduled something with a doctor with a long wait and then the cancellation call came and they moved us up in the calendar, not back) and the other time we were rescheduled for the same week (not ideal for our work schedules, but we didn't lose our "spot" with respect to needing to see the doctor in a certain amount of time).
